A Professor, Scholar & Preacher

Khwaja Muhammad Lateef Ansari (1887–1979) was a distinguished professor, scholar, preacher, and writer whose intellectual and religious services left a deep mark on the Muslim world. Fluent in Urdu and Persian, he composed, translated, and authored works on history, literature, and theology. He served as a teacher of Arabic and Persian in India and later taught diverse students at various colleges in Pakistan and abroad, including Arab Institute in Mombasa, Africa. Through his lectures and writings, he strengthened Islamic thought and spread the message of Imam Hussain (AS) across India, Pakistan, Africa, and the Middle East. Even in the later years of his life, while suffering from illness, he continued writing books and mentoring students. His legacy endures as a respected teacher, preacher, and intellectual voice of his time.
